The Vegetable Clock

Illustration design for Current Biology research article in 2013 about new findings that  vegetables can respond to patterns of light and darkness post-harvest, and can change their levels of cancer-fighting antioxidants. This project was a joint collaboration during my undergraduate studies with Dr. Janet Braam, chair and professor of biochemistry and cell biology at Rice University in Houston, Texas.
