Krishna’s Butter Cup

Watercolor of the funkiest ficus leaf I’ve ever seen, Ficus Benghalensis Krishnae, found in the National Tropical Botanical Garden at Kauai, HI. This project was part of the 2019 Florilegium Society.

known as Krishna’s Butter Cup, who loves butter so much that he tried hiding in the butter by rolling it up in a leaf. It was believed that the leaves retained this shape ever since…to me, it looks more like nature shot glass!
