Concept art illustrating the identification of the binding location on amyloid beta with a rhenium metal complex. This illustration was created to accompany a research paper by Dr. Angel A. Martí, Associate Professor of Chemistry at Rice University. For this project, I utilized Mercury, a program that allowed me to visualize the chemical structure of my subject and did additional rendering in Photoshop.
