Bayesian Model book Cover Design

The illustration was created as the cover image of the first edition of“Bringing Bayesian Models to Life“, published by Chapman & Hall/CRC and written by Mevin B. Hooten and Trevor J. Hefley. The illustration is concept art of transforming mathematic equations, code and statistical output to the rebirth of a phoenix, symbolizing bringing these statistical models to life.

 

Below shows the progression of the design from the original pitch, to sketch, to finalizing the design and illustration.
